I've just looked into stats for 1200 matches for this MC.
He has a very high average rating, so I thought I'd find out why, and more importantly, what makes the average rating increase for players.
Remember these are still early findings and that I've only looked at stats for this one MC.
What I found is that there are 4 variables that really improves an attacking minded midfielder's match ratings.
These are:
Key passes
Assists
Dribbles
Goals
An easy way to test this is to go to Matches -> Stats for your favourite midfielder. Sort by either one of these variables, count the number of 8.0+ match ratings. Then sort descending on the same variable and count the number of 8.0+ match ratings again.
I'm thinking this could be the reason why flair is so overrated as an attribute for match ratings too. Surely a player with high flair will dribble more?
Yeah, and if you miss heading, it is number 5 on the list.. :)

Have been messing about on Hill Climb 2 recently which is very addictive,
and uploading this in order to link to Reddit.

My wingers (ML + MR) have always averages over 7 as long as they are set to "run with ball often" and they have decent Acceleration / Pace (16+).
ReplyDeleteThey will average 5-6 dribbles a game, which is sufficient to rack a good average. Dribble attribute is a bonus, but not needed as in this ME a player with high speed will often run around the opponent, earning him a dribble...
Seing the player in your picture has 17 Acceleration : Pace, I bet he is set on "run with ball often" earning him lots of dribbles in the process. Coupled with his good Assist ratio, it should be enough to guarantee him high average :)
He has high pace, acceleration and very importantly agility. Agility seems to have more effect on an ability to dribble than the actually dribble attribute.
ReplyDeletehes my player and is set to advanced playmaker
ReplyDeletephysicals are good
do you think influence 20 and playmaker may be a good combination?
I can't really comment too much on influence is important for playmakers, but I have found that it is not *that* important for midfielders in general.
